Darryle Randolph Gros passed away on January 27, 2025, in Providence, Rhode Island, at the age of 56. Born on November 18, 1968, in Fall Rivers, Massachusetts, Darryle’s life was marked by deep connections with family and a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Darryle was the beloved child of the late Gwendolyn Gros and Francois Gros, Jr. and was predeceased in death by his brother Damion Gros, grandparents Isaac and Annie Wilson, as well as Francois and Priscilla Dumas Gros; Arthur Sr. And Carrie Mae Brooks. Uncles Joesph, Eddie and Michael Gros.
Darryle is survived by his son Justin Taylor Sr. and daughter in law Tiairyn Taylor, Parents Reverend Arthur and Sarah Brooks. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Justin, Jr., Nina and Aracia Taylor. He is also remembered by his aunts, Phyllis Gros-Charles, Maria Gros-Antonio, Christine Gros and Harriet Gros; uncle Mark Gros; sisters April Brooks, Tandeka Brooks, Stephanie Morris and Annette Shaw; brothers Cedric Brooks, Terrizon Brooks, Marion Walker, Jerrod Wiley and
Robert Wheat. Additionally, the Wilson family of Rhode Island and South Carolina mourns his passing.
A memorial service to honor Darryle’s life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Greater Deliverance Full Gospel Ministry, 13890 S. Spruce Street, Vacherie, Louisiana.The service will begin at 11:00 AM.
